What Can I Expect For My Gold?
It depends on the karat weight of the gold, the total weight of the gold and the current price of gold on the open market. Regarding total weight, 1/2 oz of 10 karat gold is obviously worth more than 1/3 oz of 10 karat gold. Regarding karat weight, 1/2 oz of 18 karat gold is worth more than 1/2 oz of 14 karat gold. Regarding the market price, if gold was trading at $5000 CAD per oz yesterday but is trading at $5100 CAD today, you would receive a higher offer today for the same item of gold than you would have yesterday. These are the three factors that determine what we can offer for your gold.
